Just to be clear... vegetarian = no animal flesh; also vegan = no animal products whatsoever - no dairy, eggs etc.

The following restaurants in Aberdeen serve vegan food:

    Soul and Spice, 15-17 Belmont Street, Aberdeen AB10 1JR. Tel: 01224-645200. Afro-Caribbean.

The Foyer Restaurant, 82a Crown Street, Aberdeen AB11 6ET. Tel: 01224-582277.

The Lemon Tree Cafe Bar, Queen Street. Open: Thu-Sun lunchtime. Primarily a performance venue (rock, folk, jazz etc) but serves food and drink. It used to be very veg/vegan friendly, but has deteriorated over the years. The head chef however is well-disposed towards us and put on an excellent selection for National Vegan Week November 2002. Local vegans meet informally for lunch first Saturday of the month.

  4. Try searching for a vegan or at least a vegan-friendly vegetarian restaurant on this site:

    Good luck!
