  1. Clean the glass really good, clean the suction cup very good as well and if it still does this and it is under warranty, just call them and they will send you another one.

  2. Clean the whole inside of the windscreen with "auto-glym" glass polish and then wipe both the sucker and the intended application area with "methylated spirit", then apply the sucker when it is quite warm, try using a hair dryer to warm it or the cars own dashboard heater vents. You will find that you will need to wipe the sucker with 'methys' about once or twice a week.

  3. Ensure that the suction clamp is switched to the left (off) before giving the suction cup a good l**k.  (Plenty of spit on your finger does it too).  Press it firmly against the glass before sliding the clamp over to the right to secure it.

The only time mine won't stick is when it is extremely cold - have to wait for the screen to warm up first then it is good to go!

  4. Ha! Mine did the same! I found myself almost having accidents everytime I used it!

    This worked for me...

Slightly dampen the suction cap (I just licked it the first time - a bit gross but it works!) You'll find it wont be coming off again in any hurry!

Good luck and drive safe! :)

  5. The rubber sucker needs to be warm to be supple enough to grip the glass sufficiently. Rub it briskly with the palm of your hand then l**k around the edge where it grips the glass then apply it to the window as normal. This usually works but I've found some days nothing works then I throw it in front of the gear stick!

  6. go on,  be brave, l**k it

    the suction cup ofcourse

    lol

  7. Remember to wipe the sucker marks of the windscreen when you remove your sat.nav, otherwise some Scxxxe will recognise that you may have one in your vehicle and cause damage to your car in order to steal it, whether you've left it in the vehicle or not. Also leave a road atlas on the back seat.

  8. I had the same problem, give the windscreen and holder a good clean and it should stick on ok.

  9. Clean the window thoroughly and dry then use an ecloth on the suction area of the glass and the pad and stick securely stays for months.Make sure all the air is out of the suction area before turning the locking mechanism.
