Is there a good website that has BIG SIZES for motorcycle gear (jackets and pants)?? ?

I am looking to buy a jacket with armor in it - I am female, but prefer the look and feel of men's style jackets. I am a large woman - 275 lbs and 5' 4". Unfortunately, the length of the sleeves will be a problem, I am sure. Maybe there is a site for large women motorcycle jackets? I have done many searches to try to fine jackets that will fit and suit my needs. Also looking for riding pants (men's size: 50-52 inch waist). Please lead me in the right direction. Thanks!

I used to work in the retail/accessory industry for years. It's very tough to find a manufacturer of apparel who makes larger sized gear. The best things I found for my customers was to check out companies like Aerostitch, River Road, Joe Rocket, and First Gear. They don't do it through out their entire line of gear, but they do offer larger sizes in some of their stuff and still keep a good quality of protection and comfort. Plus, they offer other styles and colors than just plain old black if you were looking for better visibilty. I no longer work for them, but your local Cycle Gear store is usually a great place to look. They can special order anything for you. The have a 100% satifaction guarantee on EVERYTHING they sell, which gives you an opportunity to use it on your bike in the real world and make sure it's the right gear for you. Plus, they are resonable on pricing and usually have sales all the time. If you don't have one near you, their website offers the same policies, so you are safe in your purchases. But I have always found that if you can try it on before you buy it, it takes a lot of the guess work out it for you. And really, if you get and don't like it, you can return it, no problem. The other option is always custom made leathers. There are a lot of great companies out there for that, but it can get really pricey!
