  1. My friend wanted to do the same thing.

She did a lot of research, and she found a great place online. I will provide the link for you below if you are interested.

She compared a lot of places. She felt good about this one because it was featured in USA Today, and she liked the fact that they are members of the BBB.

They were willing to give her the best price for her gold, and they were willing to pay her fast.

There is a ton of information on that site if you would like to check it out. You can put in your information if you would like to find out what you can get for your gold.

Good luck, I hope you get they money you want for it!

  2. Prices change, sometimes $20-$30/ounce in a day.  Of course they want you to verify!  They want to see what you have, whether it's really gold, or gold plated tin. After they look it over and decide how much gold is in it, they offer you a price, fair or not.  If you accept the price, they mail you a check.

If they did not do it this way, you might decide the check was not big enough.  If they have already melted your gold down, the options are limited.  This way if you don't like the offer, they send your stuff back.
