Is there a gps for use on aboat in inland waterways & on the roads...?

All GPS units are designed to give your location.  Gremlin and others have software designed to aid you with street maps etc. others make software to use on the water.  I'd investigate using a lap top, and GPS capabilities with different software that would fill your needs.  This would give you max. flexibility.  I know office depot has an inexpensive GPS kit.
