Is there a greater need for demolition work with banks because of the foreclosures?

I heard that there was a demand for demolition because of foreclosures from the mortgage lenders.

  1. Heh, I doubt these banks want to bother demolishing any of the structures on these foreclosed properties...


  2. I have heard nothing about demolition, but there is increased work for general contractors for house repairs, and lock smiths are working overtime changing locks.  

  3. No, the banks will open again under new owners or the buildings will be converted for an alternate use. Some old branches may be torn down.
