  1. hey im wondering about the same thing, except for drama not music. john curtin doesnt accept students into year 12, and its the same with many other specialist schools, they only except students up till year 11, then they  are expected to continue onwards through year 12. :)

  2. John Curtin School of Performing Arts, Fremantle

  3. Perth Modern and Churchlands have very good music programs.

  4. Mt. Lawley Senior High School is very good for music, you can learn any instrument or do vocals. There is also a course where students go to Edith Cowan University and earn a certificate IV in music by passing some theory exams, working with other students in a band, to write and perform a song. You can also take music as a TEE or non-TEE subject. The school also has very strong ties with WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) that many students have got into.

Also, Perth Modern is a specialist music school although the emphasis is on classical music and it could be difficult to get into for Year 12.

    Hope that helped ;-)
