Is there a hockey shop in Joe Louis Arena? Blade Sharpening?

I have never heard of a public pro shop in the JLA.  I'm pretty sure there isn't one available for use unless you are playing in some sort of tournament at the Joe.

EDIT - Hepburn where are you from?  The best near me (Macomb County) is probably at the Great Lakes Fraser complex or the Mt. Clemens Arena.  Mt. Clemens has a great fitness center too.  I haven't been to either in about 3 years though.  St. Clair Shores was sh*t when I played there.

take it from someone who plays on little ceasers and plays all our home games and practices at the JLA. There is a place to get the skate sharpening done, but you have to ask for al the zamboni driver. Hes the biggest d**k youll meet but he does sharpen skates.

Unless you're a member of the Red wings, No. NHL teams do not have open equipment rooms to the public. Try a phone book or the internet. Or just try the local rink- they can do it there.
