  1. try cold black tea it works on me when i have sticky eyes

  2. make yourself a cup of tea then use the tea bags once they gone cold and use them to bathe the kittens eyes.

  3. I use neosporin, just a dab in they eyes after you have washed them out, do it every day till it clears up.

  4. i think milk can be used

  5. Hi i have a cat and u need to use warm salt water, are warm lemon water two times a day.

  6. Do the eyes look like this?

I rescued this kitten a couple of days ago and the vet gave him ammoxicilan and eye salve. Some of the other kittens he was with had already lost eyes due to the infection. Don't mess around with this, get your kitten to a vet quickly to reduce his chances of blindness or eye loss.

Cost for the vet visit which included worming, ear mite treatment, flea treatment, and the eye meds was $30. The vet wanted to wait about shots till he's healed better. They will cost $20.

  7. If  you're  sure  it's  conjunctivitis,  a  drop of  Chloramphenicol (Optrex)  has  worked  fine  on  my  cat  in  the  past.  It's  work's  very  quickly,  but  don't  over-do  it...one  drop  each  eye  about  4  hours  apart  should  be  enough,

  8. cooled boiled water use cotton wool wiping away from eye. use cotton wool only once

  9. Cold tea is a natural antiseptic which can be used to bathe the eye, but bottom line is that the kitten needs veterinary eye ointment - or you risk permanent damage to the eye.

  10. Use a teeny tiny bit of neosporin. When my kitten had it the vet gave me "terramycin" (sp?) and it was basically neosporin (same ingredients).

  11. My best recommendation would be to find a holistic vet in your area, which can be hard. They have less invasive ways of treating it without harsh drugs.

  12. Has this kitten been to a vet and them tell you it's conjunctivitis? Runny & sticky eyes could be a symptom of cat flu and I wouldn't assume unless diagnosed properly that this is something you can treat at home.

If it is conjuntivits then you would be best getting anti-biotic eye drops to clear it up - speak to a vet. See this link for more info.
