Question:

Is there a homeopathic cure for thirst?

Lately I'm thirsty all the time. Someone recommended I take a homeopathic cure. After reading up on it, I understand I'm supposed to take an ingredient that would cause the opposite effect normally. I guess salt would make me thirsty. Will this really work if I dilute a pinch of salt with a bathtub full of water? I'm willing to try anything.

  1. excessive thirst is a well-known symptom of diabetes. It's simple to get your blood sugar checked. You have to fast. If your fasting blood sugar is below 100 you're good.

  2. the only cure for thirst is to drink fluids. If you are constantly thirsty your body is trying to tell you something. You should see your Dr and be checked for things like diabetes and a thyroid problem.

  3. Finally, something homeopathic potions can fix.  It's just water, so it should do the trick.

  4. Spring water and lots of it. I go through little patches of dehydration. I ONLY drink water (well coffee in the morning and sometimes wine) other than that, I don't drink anything else. You should drink at least 3 liters of water a day...keeps your skin healthy, prevents stretch marks, it's your body's fuel, you need it to run. Your thirst is your body telling you something.....it's a good thing your listening....

  5. go get your health checked at the doctor's...it could be something as serious as diabetes. but most likely you just need to drink more water.

  6. You should drink lots of water and no caffeine... the caffeine and some other drinks will cause you to be dehydrated.. stick with water only ... Unless it continues for a long time.. Think of it like your body is asking you to drink water.. maybe it needs a good flushing.. Water will not hurt you , no matter how much you drink.. You may need to try some water like smart water with electrolytes.. The water you are drinking might be dead and so you aren't getting any good from it.. Good health.. : )

  7. Try putting lemon in your water. It really relieves my thirst and help to rehyrate me.
