why would there be a hot dog with salt? it's salty as it is and yes there are hot dogs with no salt

Not in fast food stores, but you could make your own at home, just buy low sodium sausages, hot dog buns, ketchup, mustard and relish.

I have never seen any meat hot dogs that did not contain  salt , which is a preservative.. maybe  something vegan? but all meat hot dogs contain some degree of sodium, which is  salt.  Try whole foods markets, they have a large variety..
