Is there a huge difference between 480i and 480p?

I have a xbox 360 and I can't decide wether to use it on my 19" LCD 480p tv or the 32" flatscreen tube tv that is 480i. What would you do?

The 480i interlaces the video frames, while 480p does not.

The 480p does provide a smoother picture, though but it would be hard to notice the difference at 480 resolution. The lcd Tv will also privde a less "pixelated" picture than the tube, but again, not by much.

So in short yes, there is a difference albeit small. I would go with the LCD screen anyway, every little bit helps.
