Is there a huge difference between a 50 and 52 degree wedge?

I want to get a 52 degree but it isnt available but they do have 50 degree. Should i wait or get 50?

  1. 52 degree has more loft than the 50. That's pretty much about it.


  2. Uh about 2 degrees.

  3. 50 is too close to the pitching and it won't make much different hitting pitching or the wedge. 52 is a stop gap wedge, wait and get 52, unless you don't have pitching, which is usually 46-48.

  4. I'd only get it if it still fits into your club gap range. You won't likely see more than 5 yards distance unless you're a big hitter. But clubs are like used cars, the moment you buy it, it loses half it's value so you could just try a different store. Good luck.
