so you dont have to make a mold and then put latex in it?

  1. No - latex so completely changes form that you can't catch it in between, the best evidence being what you get if you apply it in too thick layers - it sets/dries on the outside and makes a gooey mess inside.

    There is a slight chance you could make something work by using a filler, like calcium carbonate (whiting) to thicken the latex and try working with it, but it seems a good bet that some one would have if they could.

      So what is your goal?  A soft rubbery result that you can push around.  I am not sure what a latex form would be used for - face mask details, makeup prostheses.
