  1. Wow.. congrats. It must really feel like a drag and did you ever try to sit down with your mom and telling her how you feel. Well even if you do not feel like you can do that with your mom, just try it. send email me at scalzo59@aim.com and tell me details such as your state and I will help you as much as I can. I promise. Iwill be waiting for your email. =D

  2. I would imagine that, as here in England, the system has allowed your mother to home-school you because she has shown that she can do this sufficiently well to ensure you meet the minimum education requirements for your age..... however there is no law (well not in England anyway) that says a child cannot go to school..... therefore I would presume your laws would allow you to go to a normal school and learn at a normal pace, and have school breaks - if you wanted to .....I just wonder however if you may not be appreciating your mother's efforts and the dedication she has shown to you.... and by the same token she has forgotten that you are not just her child, but a 14-year old like everyone else... perhaps you could talk with you mother and reach some kind of agreement about how your education should continue.... to include having breaks from schooling just like other school children do .... Also if you decide you want to go to a normal school, you may want to find out about any advanced learning classes they have ... you may find difficulty and frustration in being in a class of non-home-schooled children because you are so advanced in your education ..... on the other hand you may also want to try to find a medium between yours and your mother's wishes ... why not also speak with a college and see how they might design a learning course for you?,,,,,
