  1. Not at the moment.

  2. if you do not want someone to eat all they can eat then don't have a buffet.......besides not all humongous fat people eat tooo much in one sitting  so quit yer snivelin and get me another plate el-cheapo

  3. Yes, they must only eat vegetables and salads without dressing and crackers. If they eat something different the restaurant has the right to throw pudding at their fat asses

  4. no, there isn't. but if you have a restaurant like that you can make this law. you can make your own laws there. interesting question!

  5. Not yet. Apparently its the governments job to keep ppl from eating themselves to death so there may be eventualy.

  6. That's ridiculous. What if they're morbidly obese but don't intend on eating any more than your average person?

You never see massive fat guys winning those hot dog eating contests, it's always tiny little ones. Your theory is flawed and discriminatory.

  7. There is a southern town trying to ban obese people from restaurants. Not sure where exactly. Just read an article the other day.

  8. There isn't such a law but I'm sure restaurant managers can still use the right to refuse service to anyone if they really want to refuse service to any overweight person. I'm sure it won't go over real well though, especially if it's a big name restaurant that would get media attention over that.

While overweight people commonly have a tendency to eat more food quantity, their weight and health isn't always an indication on how much they'll eat. Their weight and appearance would also indicate how much calories they burn(or not burn) daily and other living habits that affect their health.

  9. LOL  I think you must be referring to the legislation that was recently proposed in Mississippi.  Bill 282 would have forbidden restaurants and food establishments from serving food to anyone who is obese (as defined by the State).  The bill was proposed on Feb. 4th, 2008 and died in a Public Health subcommittee meeting on Feb. 5th, according to an article in the southern Mississippi Sun Herald.

The bill's authors have repeatedly stated that they never intended for the bill to pass; they said they wanted to draw attention to the obesity epidemic that plagues the state.

"Anybody with any sense knows it's not going to happen, not going to pass," Read told the Sun Herald recently. "Mississippi has been ranked the most obese state in the nation. With all the attention paid to tobacco problems, this was to shed some light on another major problem. This has been at least getting the dialogue going."

    So don't worry... yet.

  10. No but they should be charged like airplanes must pay for two people.

  11. Yes you never know when someone has a disability and then you will be sued for discrimination. Maybe the restaurant business is not for you. Plus you can't even spell buffet.

  12. No, but resturants are starting to reserve thier right to refuse service....check out my question on the subject, if you're interested.
