I am a UK citizen and my boyfriend is an Indian national. We want to holiday together in Goa this spring but I have heard that it is against Indian law to share the same hotel room. The travel agent says she ''thinks'' this is correct but is unable to verify. Can anyone answer this query? I dont want to get there only to find we cant stay together! Thanks.

  1. While there is no rule which prevents two nationals sharing same room, it is considered as illegal for an adult  man and woman staying together in the same room unless they  are married.
