Is there a law in Oklahoma about being pregnant and working overnight shifts?

When I started my job at 7-11, I signed on to be a night clerk. I work at a very busy store now, and I spend the nights alone.

Just recently I discovered I'm pregnant, and I feel even more unsafe, now that I have a child to consider. I was told that it is illegal for my employer to try to force me to work the overnights since it is an unsafe environment, and I am pregnant. However, when I talked to my manager to see about getting put into another shift, she gave me pretty much a 'take-it-or-quit' choice. So is there really a law on my side, and if there is, where can I find it and print it off so that she HAS to listen to me?

  1. I've never heard of such a law. Many many people work the night shift and many happen to be pregnant.
