I live in Michigan, incase each state might be different. I bought a few items at a party supply store for my wedding and i stopped in there this afternoon and they are clearanced down to $1. I paid $6 each for 2 of the items and $5 for the other 2. The woman said she couldn't do a price adjustment for clearance items. What other reason would there be for a price adjustment? Duh! I'm confused and I am wondering if there is some law stating they HAVE to. I know it's only about $20 but hey, I'm on a tight budget...

  1. Well, if they have a no return policy, I think you may be out of luck. No real state or government laws regulate prices for companies like that. However, if they let you return items, take your receipt to the store and get a full refund on the previous price. After that, buy the item at the clearance price. That's the only way around it I see.
