This must most probably be about a lottery u won thro' e-mail.

It is a scam. Dont give them ur personal details or a scanned copy of ur photo and passport or other personal details like account no. credit card no. etc. They will use this against u illegally and  u could get into trouble.I get at  least 10 such mails in my google,yahoo and hot mail addresses daily. Never even open such mails.Also such a barrister does not exist. U never win a lottery unless u buy a ticket.Also u never have to pay them money in order to claim ur lottery prize.To clear ur doubts u can go to the site "world wibe web" and go thro lottery winnings in this site. They give a detailed description abot lottery scams.
