Is there a legal age limit in the uk when buying diet pills?

just wondering ? . dont worry im not going to run out and buy them i was just having a debate with my friends :D.

  1. not that i know off...some may not be suitable to use unless OVER the age of 16.


  2. No but there are no clinically proven diet pills available to buy in the UK- you have to be prescribed them by your doctor and nearly always have to be over 16 as they are in the SNRI range of drugs which are anti-depressant family (but they have no anti-depressant qualities).

  3. Officially it's 18.

    Better no pills, good diet and exercise.

    Apart from bulking agents the others have some unpleasant side effects.
