  1. nope there isnt ..and why should there be its not that much of a hassle to see whats on the menu and just walk inside

  2. no there isn't not in the UK anyway, but most cafe & resteraunts do it to tempt custemers inside.

  3. RESTAURANTS display a menu outside to attract people i.

there are no "rules" about having to or not.

  4. No, but it's a good idea... unless your menu sucks...

  5. Not in the US, and there's no law that says all the prices have to be displayed either.

  6. No, there isn't.

  7. I'm sorry to say the previous answers are wrong. You have to display prices at or near the entrance if the whole of the premises is a cafe or restaurant that means the door or the window.  If you have a huge menu, then you have to display a representative sample of it. I think it's 30 items. The Price Marking (Food and Drink Services) Order 2003 is the legislation covering this

Trading Standards are those meant to enforce it.

  8. There is no law in the US. Restaurants often display their menus and specials outside in order to lure passer-bys.

  10. not in england but i think france spain and portugal are different only as a result of what i have seen whilst on holiday there

  11. No, why would they?
