  1. you would be harming the nature of the beast so to speak.  because these birds by nature migrate. and, birds are supposed to fly not be kept as a "pet" in a cage...how sad.


  2. No. It would violate the Migratory Bird Act, which would be punishable by fines and/or imprisonment. You might look for a bird feeder that mounts on the outside of a window. This way you can enjoy the birds up close. Also put up bird houses- some are even made with cameras inside so that you can see the babies.

  3. You can leave bird seed out in a bird feeder and birds will come eat it every day. You'll start to notice that some of the same birds come every day, and they might even become tamer and more comfortable with you out there watching them. However, it is cruel to confine a wild bird. Sorry to disappoint you.
