Is there a legit lottery that i hav won?

I have recieved an e-mail stating that I have won 5 million GBP and they want me to pay 1000 GBP taxes on it before they release it from British customes. Is it true?

Sorry friend but there is no Microsoft, Yahoo or other e-mail lottery, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information.The following sites give more information

All unsolicited email asking for money is fraudulent, forget it, it's not true.

Customs don't get taxes they get paid duty for item coming inside the U.K , but never money leaving the country.
