  1. Nope,it is what it is.

    I had 4 rental properties and when I evicted or they moved it was determined then if replacement was necessary.Cheap landlords get 125% out of there carpet,some rely on quality and replace sooner.

  2. I'm sure there's something by the complex's owner's standards. You could look up your local health inspector and ask them.

    Also, ask your complex's manager about their policies. They may be able to answer, or find it.

    And! Most do a cleaning every time you renew your lease. You should ask about that too. Helps you deal with the "nastiness" of an "old" carpet.

  3. Usually after 3 years they should be replaced in apartments that have constant renters..this is called "normal wear and tear"
