  1. The limit is the size of the farm or ranch. Look up the King Ranch, for example.


  2. All land has a carrying capacity, which means there is a limit to how many cows each acre of grass can support.  Of course, the farmer could also feed the cows in addition to the natural growth, which would increase that.

  3. The limit is how much grounds you have for grazing.If there isn't enough grass around to eat, you can't have much cows.
