  1. u proboly should only play with it at night because they sleep during the day or if its up during the day u could play with it hope this works !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. nope its good to play with them but give him time to do his business and eat and drink and all that good stuff but other than that you can play with all you want lol

  3. There is not set limit to playing with your hamster, but when you play with him outside his cage, the rule is not to make him exercise for more than 20 minutes at a stretch unless he has access to food and water. The reason being a hamster can get thirsty after 20 minutes without access to water and it can weaken him.

So whether you put him in the hamster ball, in his playpen or in a hamster proof room, put him back in the cage after 20 minutes so that he can refresh himselves.

If the hamster still looks active after refreshing, you can take him out again to play but most hamsters get tired after 20 minutes (since their little bodies cannot handle too much strain) and will straight hit their bedding for a snooze after some activity.

More time is definitely not better, however you can play with your hamster for 3-4 periods of 20 minutes in a day provided your hamster can cope with it and is happy with it. Just make sure he is not sleepy or he might bite you in his sleepy mood.

  4. There's no set "limit" when it comes to playtime. Just play for whatever length of time you both are comfortable with. If your hamster seems to be acting nervous or cranky, give them a break for a little bit. They become a little easier to handle with every positive memory of being handled before.

  5. Well, obviously he should have time to sleep, eat, drink, and use the potty corner of his cage.

As long as he has all of that, there really is no ''limit'' on how much you can handle a hamster. Just know that if you handle him without giving him ''potty breaks'', he may very well go potty on you, and that's just not pleasant.

  6. There is no limit, just make sure you hamster is not out for any more than 15 minutes, then leave them fo r  ATLEAST like 45 minutes, so they can get a drink, something to eat and a little snooze.Just remember hamsters are nocternal, so just think how you would feel if you were woken up every 45 minutes during the night. It is good to play with them, just not too much. I woul say every 3 hours is pretty good. Hope this helped!=)
