There is this officer that must weigh 300 lbs and just a few years ago he was a average size guy. I see him at Dunkin Donuts and he could not catch anybody if he were in a foot chase.

  1. I doubt it. There are some really fat cops here. One chick looks like Little Orphan Annie- plus about 40 supersized combos.

  2. Usually up to Department policy. That's what stress does.

By the way. I have a friend that is about that size. You would not want to try to out run him, and God help you if he catches you. Don't judge a book...etc.

  3. No.  As long as they can do their jobs, and some are fast.

Don't let the weight fool you.  They have been trained.

  4. i hope so....they said that they go through a serious training camp/ academy before they get in but i dunno about after they get in....i've seen alot of overweight cops its sad really...

cops are supposed to be hot not fat!!

  5. Got you fooled hahaha.

How much do you think you need to weigh to play football? (6'+ and 300 +)

A lot of officers are ex athletes, football, soccer etc.. Not everyone made the Pros.

I was 50, weighed 310, 6' and could run a 100 yards in 18 flat, with full gear on.

  6. No,

not where I live because we have some very fat cops.

  7. depends where you live
