  1. From experience of dealing with people who have these conditions I have found they effect people regardless of intelligence.

    he did a two part documentary for the BBC about it last year, very insightful :)

    and yes there are many links as Fry points out  

  3. actually there is. my therapist says im a type A. that means i suffer with alot of anxiety and i also suffer with depression.

    However, depression & anxiety can strike people of all kinds regardless of their intelligence.

  6. I believe that highly intelligent people are more likely to suffer from certain mental health problems such as anxiety and OCD. There's some research to back it if you look it up.

  7. Depending on the disorder, people with mental health issues may have a tendency to be highly intelligent (common is schizophrenics), highly creative (common in people with bipolar) or highly motivated (common with anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and self-harm).
