Unfortunately, there is no place around the bay area for boiling peanuts, as far as I know.  (They are hard to find these days even in most of Virginia and North Carolina.)  But you can order them by phone or online, and I think that's your best--and only--real option.  Here is one example, but there are other suppliers as well:
