There's a Universal Staffing Network Inc. on Dundas Street West listed on the Canadian Trade Index website.  See link below.  From their ads on bestjobsus.com they seem to have overseas placements.

There's also Universal Staffing Inc. which is a temporary job placement agency.  They have offices all over Canada.  The closest office to Toronto is on Rambler Drive in Brampton.  They seem to only recruit locally.

In December 2009 I answered an add on "Best jobs South Africa" by Universal Staffing in Toronto. In jylu 2010 I received a letter from Universal Staffing advising that Johnson & Johnson Etobicoke was interrested in employing me. I've since received a frim job offer from Johnson & Johnson and a letter from a lawyer dealing with work permits and visas. At no stage have I been asked for any monies and caanot understand what they would gain buy this if it all was a scam? We will call their respective offices to find out if all the names provided are real. Can you add anything to this mail or do you know if Universal Satffing is for real or have you been duped in the past by them? Why are both companies using yahoo mail based addressess?

guys i got feeling it is a fake rcruiting company coz i also aplied for a spot in Canada and researched the company outright in order to verify their existance,they only listed on the McRAES directory but no where else on the lists of detailed agencies in Canada or Agencies with valid licenses to recruit so there is a huge gap without an answer.Also researched the scams found and it picked up nearly word for word to the emails of successfull employment acquisition i recieved from an ordinary email address created via yahoo.ca pretending to be the employing company.Im guesing if they didnt ask you to pay fees upfront or in any way then they indentity thieves. Please,Plz,pLz be very careful. well i have not gotten feedback directly from the employing company yet but waiting to confirm my suspicions.if any body knows whats going on with this "phantom" agency,plz drop me a mail via [e-mail] and letme know if they checked out and how you tracked this agency to check if it really exists and does what they say they do.

Am also confused, I applied on PROACTIVE yahoo adress in UK and was replied from Universal Staffing adress in Canada.May be they are there. But are they the same with proactive placememts?
