Is there a message in the song "My Boy" by Celtic Thunder, for our present culture or only for some with an special issue? What kind of issue, you think?

While the song is rather specific and about a parent that wants to leave because of a bad marriage but stays for the sake of the child, the message could easily be generalized and used in other situations. Sometimes we do things, not for ourselves, but for what's the best for those that we care about. Especially in situations that we have created and that the others are innocent for.
