Is there a messenger which allows decent quality PC-PC phone calls free of cost?

Here's my problem. My dad lives and works in Muscat, Oman. I live in Mumbai, India. For the past 6 years or so, we've been communicating via Yahoo's Voice conferencing facility free of cost. Now, the local internet provider in Oman, called 'Omantel' has scrapped Yahoo's voice Service for reasons unknown (Most probably revenue loss through paid phone calls). So, we need another messenger or whatever through which we can talk for free.

A neat program called Skype. For pc to pc it's perfect! Just have you and your dad install it & you are ready to go. Much better sound quality than other programs too. Have fun with it!

it does not depend only upon the messenger but ur internet speed is also matters.... for good quality conversation u need atleast 128kbps internet speed for the both users....

u can use yahoo messenger.... or skype is also the best.....
