  1. No there is no minimum wage unlike the UK.  Rate of pay Piella, sun and bed.???

  2. You have to take what you can get, but having worked here for years, normally you can get between 6-10 euros an hour for this type of work. Cleaning is actually better paid.  Remember there will be no tax etc. from this. She will have to work some long hours if she hasn't got accomodation included, as nothing is that cheap any more.

  3. Working in Lanzarote in a bar or restaurant will be very hard work, long hours and very poorly paid. They will be working whilst everyone else is enjoying themselves.

The wages won't pay for any accommodation, let alone any cost of living you will need.

Go there for a holiday and enjoy the country, not slave away in a bar.

  4. No there is not. I know of people who have had to work there getting as little as €4 per hour!
