  1. What is a Chav? This makes not sense at all.

  2. here in north east england you will see chavs sitting on their front door step, in their pyjamas, telling their working class neighbour to f**k off, while drinking a cup of lidl's tea, and smoking a f*g and blowing smoke rings.  In the process they will be thinking about how they are going to spend their income support for their 5 kids, and will start to get ready to go into town  to spend money on clothes eg., hoodies, burberry hats, trackies, and big ring earrings etc.,

  3. Essentially they would not know what a 'mission' statement was, unless its 'see yous later', thats about it.

  4. this is yahoo answers uk no wonder u dont know what a chav is

  5. haha paranormal phenomena - i like the choice of category.

I don't think they've got the skills in reading and writing to write one never mind the brain power to come up with one!

And persephone - if you don't know what a chav is you're exceptionally lucky.

We call them NEDs in scotland - Non Educated Delinquents!

  6. round here they are called scallies and their statement may include such things like -

to scowl as if they are hard

to always ride in pairs on undersized bmx bikes with their scally mate stood on those footstands on the back wheel

to wear their donnay trackie bottoms tucked into stupid socks

    to always wear rockport boots

    to always have hooded tops

to s@@@ themselves when confronted by me and told to F@@@ off

there are many more things that could be put down - more suggestions please!

  7. Chavs are well hard innit mate.

Over here we call them steeks.

  8. DARLING THEY WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT A MISSION STATEMENT IS !!!!!! AS FOR WRITING ONE ????  THEY WOULD HAVE TO LEARN ALSO HOW TO READ ONE,!!!!!INNIT? HA HA

  9. Nearest I can think of is the sociologists Lee & Young's work on inarticulate marginalised groups. Thery claim that marginalised groups tend towards feelings of vague unfocussed resentment and an absence of clear goals. This tends to result in unfocussed expressions of discontent which are often destructive. The lack of any clear goals and of any leaders makes negotiation or even meaningful communication between such groups and  authorities very unlikely, which means the underlying problems remain unresolved.
