Is there a monthly fee for having internet on my itouch?

Okay, so i know that it is free to connect to WiFi, but what about the base fee for just having internet in my itouch? Isn't there a monthly charge for that like regular internet service?

No, unlike the iphone where you get internet anywhere from a cellphone provider, the itouch on has wifi capabilities. This means that you have to be near a hotspot for it to work and you don't have to pay any monthly charges or anything.

my friend just connects to random peoples internet

unless you have a seperate line for your itouch

you might get charged, but i doubt it's even possible to get a line

just for your itouch, the internet service should already exist, with a router.
