  1. Only if there is a monitoring system included. If you do the monitoring yourself then there is no continuous fee.


  2. It depends on the company. Some charge a monthly fee, others do not.

    If you want remote monitoring, there may be a monthly fee for the internet access if you do not already have a DSL line etc.
