  1. Parchment.

  2. carte blanch means blank paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Stationary: for personal writing paper.

  4. The correct spelling is "stationEry". Normally, I don't flame spelling, but the distinction is important. "stationAry" refers to an object at rest.

Other words to consider: parchment, tablet, pad, writing pad.

Keep in mind that a more "fancy" word might be misleading to your intended audience, or may make you look like the fool while trying to impress with flowery language. Of course, the occasional "bon mot" may cause the reader to infer that you have superior command over the language. I, however, look to Ernest Hemmingway's spare prose for inspiration. (Though I'm failing at that here...)

    -- Edit --

How about "Journal" or "Chronicle" for diary?

  5. It depends on the use of the paper.

Pages can sound elegant in the right context.

Or you can take the Whitman approach and use "leaves".

It really depends on the way you're trying to use it...can you give us an example of a sentence?
