  1. No

My Alias is pointing you to a site that discusses perpetual motion machines; which are impossible.  A perpetual motion machine is a machine that somehow creates its own power or feedback to keep itself operating with no loss in efficiency.  Even in the vacuum of space there is friction and resistance from gravity.  Some day the planets will slow down and all fall into the sun, but not for many billions of years.

Entropy makes sure that this happens and makes perpetual motion machines impossible, it is the property of the universe that says the universe will tend toward chaos; eventually all matter will become disorganized--spread out among the universe and the temperature of the universe will drop toward that of absolute zero.

Things like friction, air resistance, the resistance of gravity and so on insure that a perpetual motion machine can't work.  This same property is at work in life and makes all life forms have to work in order to live.  You have to hunt your dinner, or work at a job to be able to afford dinner.  You have to fight to survive and the moment you give up that fight is the moment you start to die.

Solar cells are about 30% efficient, Internal Combustion engines are about 40% efficient (fuel injection and the use of aluminum engine blocks has increased this) , the light bulb is about 40% efficient; neon bulbs are more efficient and LEDs are almost 90% efficient. This is the best we have ever been able to do.  Most of our tools are not that efficient; like the motor.

Of course efficiency has its own problems computers use switches that were based off the old vacuum tube technology.  These were only 60% efficient and transistors are about 90% efficient the problem is when an atomic bomb explodes it creates an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP)  A vacuum tube would survive the sudden jolt in electricity, but something that is 90% efficient is too efficient to take the pulse and survive.  That is why your cell phone, your car, and your computer will all die.  But the trade off is they are much smaller and use much less power.

Energy Efficiency is the measure of how much work is produced for a given supply of input energy.  Usually you have to supply twice as much energy to get the work required done.  If this energy comes from an engine, not a person, then that is fine; but if you have to do it then it gets tougher.  Efficiency is decreased by inherit flaws in the system, flaws that come from nature to make things tougher and because the universe itself is resisting us.

One idea inspired from yours is regenerative breaking; when a car breaks it loses energy.  In an electric car this friction can be turned into electrical energy to charge the battery thus getting back some of the energy wasted by breaking.  It is done with a spinning magnetic on the wheel; which creates an electrical field.  It is not 100% efficient but it improves the otherwise poor efficiency of electric cars.

  2. That would be a perpetual motion machine and is reserved for crack pots that do not know that energy can not be created or destroyed.

They will never give up trying and will always claim some type of conspiracy theory as to why the amazing machine has been suppressed.

  3. So far, no
