  1. Death by shear boredom!

  2. an overhead!

  3. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/new...    tennis can kill

  4. It all depends on the fall.

Watching Phaul against Nadal today there was a rally where Phaul jumped quite high and almost crashed into the soft boards.

However, say he got hit in the face and dropped awkwardly breaking both his legs, then suffers shock and dies from internal bleeding.

    But yeah, very unlikely.

  5. Playing doubles in high school, my partner and I would always try to nail the other team with an overhead smash or a forehand if we didn't like them. I've also seen children get nailed in the face with another's backswing during tennis lessons.

  6. The ball weighs only 2 ounces.  I can't imagine anyone being killed by a tennis ball, even at top speeds (150mph).  It would have to be a huge fluke accident to be killed by a tennis ball, and it would have to really nail a key pressure point like the temple.  Even then, I'm not sure it would be enough.  I've been nailed by the ball at close range, and it just bruised me a little bit.  So no, a tennis ball cannot kill.  The racquet, is a different story.

  7. ball hits center line male judge on a serve square in the nether regions. he falls over and hits his head, sustains severe injuries. dies later. true story at the us open.

  8. I got hit in the nuts once...that killed...
