  1. it's technically called lacto-vegetarian

  2. That's like saying you're a vegetarian who doesn't eat meat, but eats carbs that contain beef.

Unless the carbs you eat come from your own breast milk, you are NOT a vegan.  An individual who consumes animal products of any kind cannot be vegan.  Period.

  3. vegans

  4. There's no such thing as a semi-vegan.  You're either a vegan or not a vegan and vegans don't consume any type of animal product.

You are just a vegetarian- a lacto vegetarian.

  5. Well, to simplify things, I'd say just vegetarian.

Try not to be super concerned about a label. It isn't the name that's important.

  6. dairy is not meat, so it would still be considered vegetarian

  7. As far as I know there isn't a name for that. It's just vegetarian.

  8. I am vegan but every now and then I will use products that carry minute trace elements or derivatives of milk. Not enough to make you feel like your cheating.

  9. lacto-vegetarian

Carbs that contain milk? WTF is that supposed to mean?

  10. The term vegetarian allows for the consumption of dairy products, so that would make you a vegetarian.  Lacto-vegetarian if you like (and if you don't eat eggs.)
