  2. Yes, you can purchase Knox unflavored gelatin in most grocery stores.

    You can follow the directions on the box to make you own gelled deserts using whatever sweeteners, fruit juices, or other flavoring that you like.

    It's a bit more expensive than Jello.

  3. Ingredients

        * 1 quart fruit juice

        * 4-5 tablespoons agar-agar flakes or 4 teaspoon agar-agar, powder

        * 1 pinch sea salt

        * chopped fruit

    Directions

          1

          Place liquid, salt and agar-agar into saucepan, stir to dissolve the flakes.

          2

          Bring to a boil, reduce flame and simmer for 2 - 3 minutes.

       3.

          Place any additional ingredients (fruits, etc) into a shallow bowl and pour hot liquid overall.

       4. Chill until jelled.

  5. gummy bears?

  6. Jello is natural.

  7. Yes!  There is.  Agar (a substance derived from seaweed) is a wonderful, chemical free (depending on the brand, so buy organic), vegan replacement for gelatin.  Then you just add fruit juices and voila!  "Natural jello"!!!  Below are some recipes so that you can make your own.  Good luck!

  8. Try agar agar--a vegetarian Jell-o. Here's a wikipedia link. :-)
