I have basil plants with holes in the leaves and I want a natural bug repellant that I don't have to worry about eating.

  1. I use crushed garlic soaked overnight in water and splsh it over the plants. It works a treat. If it rains do it again.

  2. Try watering down some hot sauce and putting it in a spray bottle. The capsaicin in the hot sauce should burn the bugs eyes and there little mouths. Try to find something with habinaro. When you use your vegetables, just rinse them off so that you don't add too much extra spice to your food.

  3. go to ur local garden shop and talk to the workers there about it :)

  4. Just use a litle drop of dish soap and water.

  5. my wife and i use a little crushed garlic in some water in a spray bottle. Have to shake the bottle vigorously but keeps the stems too slimy for little feet. That or they just dont like it. Either way tomatoes were fine afterwards and no more holes.

  6. Watered down coffee works a treat.  It gets rid of slugs and snails and is good for the enviroment
