Is there a natural food or a medicine that can work as a laxativefor my umbrella cokatoo,(parrot)?

lately "snowflake" my umbrella cokatoo has been having trouble, pooping it wontcome out, and he has a mess of fickle matter all over his private area, im really worried, i think if he took a laxative of somesort it might help him out, please help FOR "SNOWFLAKE'S" SAKE!!!
