Is there a natural walking pace for human beings?

Horses for example seem to have one, Would we all benefit by following there example?

  3. There should be.  Theres nothing worse than being stuck behind a dawdler.

  4. The human leg works like a pendulum, it has a natural rhythm based on its length. In practice this means that everyone has a different natural walking pace.

    Try moving your leg faster or slower whilst taking the same length stride and you'll see what I mean.
