  2. You can put a patch on the good eye and this will help the muscles in the lazy eye become stronger.

If you don't want to go out in public like this just do it at home. I know this is a method that is often used.

    Best wishes

  3. No. I have glaucoma and I wore a patch from 3months old to 8 years. And my left eye drifted 22 degrees from my right eye. I had eye muscle surgery to fix the drift but that was in 2004. My left eye has begun drifting again. 6 degrees as of now.

If you find a remedy tell me. I'm so embarrassed of my eye, it hurts my self-confidence.

  4. Aside from patching it or "freezing it" through surgery, glasses can help.  It all depends on what causes your lazy eye.  I've had one from birth, but in 5th grade the doctors discovered that my vision was slightly worse in my right eye, and so my body chose to stop using that eye all together.  For some time after I got my glasses the eye muscle remained very weak because of all of the years it had been unused, but now it stays in place if I have my glasses on.  The vision difference could be so little that your doctor is choosing not to fix it... but who knows, correcting your vision to perfect 20/20 on both sides can also cure a lazy eye.  I feel like my life has been greatly improved without a wandering eye to worry about.  Good luck!

  5. No.

If you mean amblyopia, treatment should be before age 6 and consists of correcting any refractive error, correcting any strabismus and patching the good eye.

If you mean strabismus, surgery is the main treatment.
