Is there a new ipod nano coming out soon? ?

Hi, i went shopping today hoping to get an ipod nano and all the shops i tried were sold out, also one of the shop assistants i ask said apple aren't sending anymore out.

is there a new ipod nano coming out? and does anyone know when they are going to be available to buy?

There are rumors that there is a new Nano coming out. Nothing is official. And it is also a rumour that there is an Apple event on September 9th. Well last time I checked, anyway.
