Is there a new mac coming out soon?

Question

I want to get a laptop, but I hear that a new mac is yet to come out..so I don't know if I should wait for that to come out or just get a mac now..what do you think?

I do believe there are new notebooks coming out from Apple soon, but no one really knows for sure. They sometimes update before the holiday season but if you need a notebook now, I would buy what they are currently selling, they are great computers.

If you are taking it to collage I suggest you do not take the very best top of the range laptop with you, but I do agree on the Mac part. Wait till the new one comes out and buy an older one because it will be reduced by £100 - £200 / $200 - $400.

uck! do not buy a mac. yeah they are pretty and cute, but they are c**p. it will p**p out on you in like a year with out extreme maintenance. Dont waste your money on something that is esthetically pleasing. buy a dell with windows you will be much happier and youll save a ton of money.

they are expected to come out with/ update the macbook and ipod lines in early sept, watch the news

Well there is going to be a new update of the operatign system and not the hardware. From the Leopard OSX to Snow Leopard. they have not released a date but is most likely next year around early summer.  The difference is just new perfomance features not much on new software.
