Is there a non-toxic substance I can put in the yard to keep ants away from my pool?

They're all over the concrete of the surrounding patio area, and jumping into the pool like lemmings!

  2. Try  newly ground pepper corns, scattered them into certain areas of your problematic pool.

  3. i heard that cayenne pepper does the trick, but it would probably take a while for it to take effect and it could hurt you if you got it in your eyes

  4. Check out the link below. DE is microscopic razor wire that cuts up bugs but is harmless to people pets and the enviroment. DE only kills pest due to its physical properties not it's chemical properties therfore it does not react with anything.

  5. funny that you ask this because i just read today that ants hate mint.  i actually am disgusted by the scent of mint myself so i must be part-ant!
