i wrote a song and put it on a cdd and i need to get a copyright but i do not know how is there any one that can tell me how?

Visit the U.S. Copyright Office web site

( http://www.copyright.gov/forms/ ). You can pay $35 to file a copyright online, or $45 to file offline.

The fastest processing time is provided when you file online. Offline it could take up to 8 months to receive your copyright certificate.

However keep in mind, you don't need a certificate in order for your song to be copyrighted. According to the U.S. Copyright Office website: "Your work is under copyright protection the moment it is created and fixed in a tangible form that it is perceptible either directly or with the aid of a machine or device."

But you should have one for legal purposes.
